About the Role:

HTS Constructions are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced C0 Licensed Crane Operators to join our team in Nauru.  These roles are Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO), on an even time 3:3 roster. Flights are available out of Brisbane only.

Please note, you must have a current, valid Australian OR New Zealand Passport and be ready to travel immediately.

This role requires an immediate start subject to visa approval and pre-employment medical.

Key Responsibilities:

• You'll be expected to:

  • Operate cranes and plant equipment, providing lifting support, freight handling and equipment location.

  • Conduct pre-operational checks and regular maintenance on cranes and rigging equipment.

  • Maintain detailed logs of crane operations and maintenance activities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to crane operation / rigging.

  As part of the crane operations team, you'll also be expected to assist with additional duties outside of lifting hours, including general site support and if possible, plant operation.

  Additional licences and tickets such as HR or HC Truck Licence, Civil Tickets (Skid Steer), Forklift and / or Rigger HRWL would be very highly regarded. All rounders are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidates must have: 

  • Minimum 5 years crane operation experience and a current C0 licence.

  • Current EWP (Over 11m)

  • Good physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions. 

  • Able to work effectively as part of a site team. 

  • Previous FIFO or DIDO experience.

This is a casual role initially, with a strong possibility of moving to a permanent ongoing role in the future.
