About the Role:
HTS Constructions are seeking an experienced site-based Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent as part of our continued presence in the Northern Territory.
The E&I Superintendent, will oversee and manage all aspects of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) work on the project site, including low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) systems. HTS are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in E&I construction, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation construction, with a focus on LV and HV systems.
You'll be primarily based on one of our NT projects, on a 2:2 roster with some office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all E&I construction activities, including LV and HV works.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Lead and manage a team of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors.
Provide daily oversight and support to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Provide technical guidance and support for E&I installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all E&I work.
Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure high standards are met.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Electrical Workers' Licence.
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Demonstrated experience (10+ years) in E&I / similar roles.
Prior experience in Process and NPI mining or Heavy Industrial construction would be preferred.
Current Drivers Licence.
Estimating and tendering experience would be advantageous.
Familiarity with safety management systems and best practices.
