About the Role:
HTS Constructions are seeking an experienced Polywelder / Plumber to join our team in the Northern Territory. This role is offered with either a 2:2 or a 2:1 roster, with flights available out of Brisbane, Perth, Darwin and Alice Springs.
You'll be joining an existing project team, which will include poly welding and tailings pipe, and valve installations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years, post qualification experience as a Polywelder. Preferably, you will have experience working with a range of butt and electrofusion welding tasks, and prior experience in operator (or similar) roles on mining or construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform poly welding tasks, including butt and electrofusion welding.
Install tailings pipes, valves, and related components as per project specifications.
Conduct hydrotesting operations on HDPE piping systems to ensure system integrity.
Interpret and execute tasks based on HDPE and civil construction drawings.
Operate machinery and tools related to pipe installation and site works.
Ensure adherence to site safety protocols and quality standards.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will require:
Polywelder Qualification + minimum 2 years experience
Previous mining and/or construction site experience
Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)
Willing to take on additional duties as needed
Advantageous to have a HR/MC Drivers License or Operator Tickets.
You will also be required to complete a pre-employment medical, police check and supply references.
