About the role:
We are seeking experienced scaffolders, to join our established team at our Tanami operations in the Northern Territory. This role is on a 2:2 roster with an immediate start available for suitable candidates.
This role is open to candidates based in Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth with charter flights leaving from these locations only.
The ideal candidate will have their intermediate or advanced scaffolding ticket, experience working in mine-site environments and willing to take on additional duties as a Trade Assistant when required.
Job Description:
As a scaffolder, you will be expected to:
Perform limited scaffolding works in complex mining environments, including mills and other high-risk areas.
Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding in accordance with site requirements and safety standards.
Support rigging activities under supervision, contributing to lifting and materials handling tasks.
Act in a trade assistant capacity during periods of light scaffolding work to assist other trades.
Inspect and maintain scaffolding equipment to ensure compliance and safe operation.
Work effectively within a team to deliver outcomes in a remote mining construction context.
Comply with all workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must have:
Intermediate or Advanced Scaffolder Ticket + minimum 2 years experience in a mine environment.
A Rigger HRWL would be advantageous
Nationally Recognised Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Prior experience in FIFO would be preferred
A good understanding of safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment
