Multiple Positions available
We are seeking experienced operators, to join our established team at our Tanami operations in the Northern Territory. There are two roster patterns available, 2:1 and 2:2 with an immediate start available for suitable candidates. These roles are only open to candidates based in Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth with charter flights leaving from these locations only.
The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled, adaptable and prior experience in mining, civil or construction works. You'll be assisting with earthworks on ongoing SMP works in a remote construction project. We are looking for a team-players with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Skills and Experience:
Operators must have:
Current (Australian) civil tickets for Skid Steer, Roller, Front End Loader and Excavator.
Minimum 3 years experience operating these machines in a mining or construction environment.
Heavy Vehicle Licence, ideally HR or MC.
Nationally Recognised Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Willingness to take on other duties, when operating workload is light, such as assisting trades onsite or general labouring.
Additionally:
Experience using GPS guided excavators and Dozers would be advantageous.
Prior experience in FIFO would be preferred
A good understanding of safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment
