Job Description
Due to expanding operations, we're seeking skilled E&I Technicians to join our team at the Tanami site. Immediate start available for successful candidates. This FIFO position is available on either a 2:1 or 2:2 roster.
This role is open to candidates based in Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth with charter flights leaving from these locations only.
Key Responsibilities:
HTS are seeking adaptable E&I Techs (preferably dual trade), with a breadth of experience in mining, construction or heavy industry. You will be responsible for:
Installing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems, including HV/LV cables, switchboards, MCC terminations, motors, lighting, and control/instrumentation systems.
Fault diagnosis and repair across electrical and instrumentation systems to maintain safety and performance.
Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams—fitters, plumbers, civil workers—to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
Performing testing, calibration, and documentation for instruments such as sensors, transmitters, and control devices.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards, performing inspections, and maintaining accurate field records.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must have:
Certificate III or IV in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I).
Current Electrical Licence in QLD, NT or WA
Current First Aid, CPR and LVR
Working at Heights certification
5+ years working on construction projects in the mining / construction sector would be preferred
Nationally Recognised Construction Induction Card (White Card)
